Haiti - Security : Heavily armed individuals impose their law
On Monday, heavily armed bandits opened fire on a police patrol stationed in the police Station of Petit-Goâve on National Road #2 at the level of the town of Curtis near Diocan'n. They fired on passersby and cars that use this road. An official car has received nearly 20 projectiles, vehicle were blocked on Mangot-Marion and in Shabanne...

These individuals, who impose their law, attacking police officers, terrorizing the population and extort money from motorists, are controlled by the leader "Ti Sam" who uses guerrilla tactics. After each attack the attackers retreat into their camps in the mountains.

According to a police source, the bandits argue, that they will transform the national road #2 in a red zone.

Cross the bridge Curtis on the national #2, became very dangerous and police officers of Petit-Goâve, in not sufficient staffing, are helpless and need emergency reinforcements to end this situation.
