"The Directorate General of Electricity of Haiti (EDH) notify its customers in particular the population of Kenscoff, Thomassin, Fermathe, Laboule, Pèlerin that the restoration of power in these areas as planned Friday could not be met, in fact, following the breakdown of the pole supporting the transformer.

The EDH teams are hard at work in order to restore the situation as soon as possible and hopes re power the population from this Sunday, September 8, 2013 at noon.

The EDH would like to thank the residents of Morne Hospital for their contribution during the excavations for the installation of poles. The Electricity of Haiti renews to the population its determination to work for the modernization of the energy system, while keeping it informed."
