The Investment Facilitation Center (CFI) informs us that for the period from 16 to 20 September 2013, several million dollars in new investments both foreign and domestic, generators of thousands of jobs have been confirmed in Haiti.

New foreign direct investment :

Haiplast Recycling S.A., working in the collection and treatment of waste plastics. A invest 765,000 USD, which will create 34 jobs ;

MBI Haiti SA, involved in the manufacture of clothing. An investment of $ 1.7 million which will generate 1,241 jobs.

New national direct investment :

CDIFEEH SA, which will produce improved stoves, an investment of U.S. $ 133.975, which will create 15 jobs ;

Compagnie Haïtienne de Production Agricole S.A. : processing plant of cereals and grains, an investment of $ 4 million, which will generate 79 jobs ;

Le Montechristo Hôtel & Suites S.A., Hotel and boarding houses, an investment of $6 million, which will create 780 jobs.

Also, remember that Wednesday, two announcements of investment in Haiti totaling $110 million were announced in New York, at the 7th meeting of the Clinton Global Initiative.
