Haiti - Tourism : A Eductour to promote Haiti in the U.S. market
Delta Air Lines in collaboration with the Tourism Association of Haiti (ATH) and the Ministry of Tourism, organized from 26 to 30 September 2013, an Eductour for some Americans journalists specialized in travel and tourism from major media such as : New York Daily News, Mundo Fox, Haitian Times, Hoy LA Times, Atlanta Points Miles & Martini, En Vivo PR et SBPRC Inc.

The purpose of this press trip was to promote Haiti as a tourist destination in the U.S. market. In this context, these journalists have stayed two nights in Port-au-Prince/Pétion-ville while participating in the inauguration of the Festival "Taste and Flavours Lakay" one night in Cap Haitien with a visit of the Citadelle and boat trip and a night on the Arcadins Coast with its Water Activity potential.

Monday before starting a session of "debriefing" was held at the hotel Visa Lodge. These journalists were amazed by this stay where they were able to discover and enjoy some of our tourism potential in terms of Gastronomy, Culture, History and Water activities.

According to Alfonso Hernan Diaz Moreno of Mundo Fox, it is the visit of the Citadelle that marked them more than anything else, "It was Breathtaking".

Improve the country's image in the international arena requires visits and inspections of this kind for the international trade press, travel agents and tour operators, because their perception changes completely and their positive impact on the general public does not have price for Haiti.
