Haiti - Reconstruction : Inauguration of the Court of Appeal of Port-au-Prince

Me. Jean Renel Sanon, the Minister of Justice took part in the inauguration ceremony of the rehabilitation work undertaken in the premises of the Court of Appeal of Port-au-Prince.

Judges and other staff of this Court now work in premises profoundly repaired and equipped, among other facilities, of sound systems, air conditioning and equipped with brand new furniture.

Me Jean Joseph Lebrun, President of the Court, welcomed the comfort and beauty of the present building of the Court of Appeal of Port-au-Prince, recently renovated thanks to funding of the Minustah.

Note that the Court of Appeal of Cap-Haitien, the country's second city, has also been renovated. Major works have been engaged in this building by the National Heritage Institute for the Protection of National Heritage (ISPAN). Its inauguration is scheduled in the coming days.
