Monday, Stéphanie Balmir Villedrouin, the Minister of Tourism arrived in Cap Haitien has the head of a delegation composed of representatives of Estrada Real de Belo Horizonte (Brazil), of the Interamerican Development Bank (IDB) and of Atout France. This mission was part of the development of the Organization of Management of the North Destination (OGD). Working meetings and field visits were scheduled on the sidelines of this tour.

As part of the vision of the Ministry of Tourism to develop the North Destination in a sustainable manner, the Minister Villedrouin and Ms. Dieudonne Luma Etienne, Regional Director north of the Ministry, organized a large round table in the North Office, around the various strategies to implement to achieve to standardize the product and provide a quality destination. IDB, Estrada Real de Belo Horizonte of Brazil, CECI, ATH-North, OGD-North, Atout France, ISPAN North and the Ministry of Culture, attended the roundtable.

Thereafter, the Minister visited accompanied by the delegation, the Imperial Hotel of Cap-Haitien, local potential of the Hotel School that the Ministry wants to open in the North, then visited the Tourist market of Cap Haitien freshly rebuilt by the Ministry and being finished.

Also, Saturday and Sunday, the Departmental Directorate of Tourism Southeast has welcomed a delegation from the European Union chaired by Raphael Brigandi, in charge of political affairs and relations with the press and the institution ARCADE, led by Barbara Stephenson Prézeau. The course has allowed the delegation to appreciate the efforts of the Government and of the private sector in the region : visit of the Historic Centre, of craft workshops and ongoing projects and visit of the School of Music Dessaix Baptiste and frescoes created by the youth of the foundation ART Creation Foundation (ACFFC). Beaches: Congo, Cyvadier, Raymond-les-Bains, Ti-Mouillage and Kabic have amazed the delegation.
