The Marriott Hotel in Port-au-Prince, will open its first hotel in Haiti in January 2015. In partnership with the Ministry of Tourism, Marriott offers the opportunity to Haitian candidates to gain meaningful work experience by participating in the internship program for its future executives. The internship of lasting six months will be held in the Dominican Republic from April 2014. Transport costs (flight), work permits, accommodation, meals and living expenses will be covered by Marriott and the Ministry of Tourism.

Profile of candidates sought :

• Having studied or currently studying Hospitality Management, Hotel Management and Tourism ;

• Hold an average of 75.50 or more ;

• Have between 22 and 35 years ;

• Fluent in English, French and Spanish ;

Note: Graduates of the Hotel School the past five years are strongly encouraged to submit their application.

Qualities sought :

• Great communication skills ;

• Professional attitude ;

• Passionate by the tourism industry ;

• Concerned by the customer service;

• Leadership and ability to work in team ;

• Good computer skills.

• A letter of motivation in English ;

• UA letter of recommendation in French ;

• April 2014 : Start of Internships ;

• July 2014: End of Internships.
