Haiti - Security : Conspiracy unveiled

In a note, Me Jean Renel Sanon, the Minister of Justice, informs the public, that a subversive meeting, organized by a sector hostile to the election was held Thursday afternoon at the Avenue Poupelard. During this meeting, it was decided the assassination of journalist Jean Monard Metellus [anchorman of sociopolitical programs on Caraïbes FM].
In his note the Minister specifies that "Reliable information, suggest us that the dirty work was entrusted to two riders for the sum of $10,000.
While condemning the cynicism of these criminals disguised as politicians, the Ministry of Justice strongly condemns this infamy and invites everyone to tolerance and prudence.
The Government Commissioner at the Court of First Instance of Port-au-Prince, was instructed to put the public action in this regard. Similarly, formal instructions have been passed to the police to ensure the safety of journalist."
