Haiti - Training : 19 scholarships in the field of oil industry

At the initiative of the "Société Pétrolière et financière haïtienne", PetroGaz Haiti (PGH), a scholarship for a period of 9 months to 1 year, was awarded to 19 young Haitians in the area of the oil industry.

This training in mechanical, electrical, plumbing and other industrial disciplines related to the petroleum sector, which will be given in technical schools in Trinidad and Tobago, is part of the efforts to develop the oil industry in Haiti and address the lack of expertise in this area, said the geologist Dieuseul Anglade, Technical Director at PGH.

Mr. Anglade stressed the need for these young people to return to Haiti after their studies to put their new knowledge to the service of the nation, reminding young beneficiaries, that the PGH and other companies in Haiti, are ready to hire them as they completed their training and returned home.
