Haiti - Education : Collaboration between Cuban Universities and University Unoga

Saturday, Senator of Grand Anse, Jean Maxime Roumer also Rector of the Community University Unoga, in the city of Jérémie (Southeast of Haiti) was present as a guest at the 2nd National Workshop "TecnoEduca 2013", held in Cuba, Las Tunas (600 km south-east of Havana), with participants from seven Cuban provinces that have presented of products and computer experiments on the application of technology in the teaching-learning process.
Jean Maxime Roumer, has indicated that the university he leads signed letters of collaboration with institutions such as the University of Oriente, Santiago de Cuba, and the University of Pedagogical Sciences, Las Tunas "Cuba has positive experience in term of technical training, of education and foreign language through educational technology : software, websites and audio-visual media, tools that allow better preparation of human resources," explained Jean Maxime Roumer.
Recall that diplomatic relations between Cuba and Haiti began in February 1904 and have expanded since the Revolution in 1959. Cuba today provides its highest cooperation with Haiti in the field of health, education and technical assistance.
