Haiti - Economy : Important Haitian trade mission to Canada 19/11/2013 09:54:58 The Delegation of the HCCCI will be in Montreal, Quebec and Ottawa, Ontario from November 19 to 23 in order to deepen the multidimensional trade relations between Canada and Haiti "While sustained efforts are made by both the public and private sector to attract foreign investment in Haiti, this mission wants to be a visibility campaign and of promotion positive of Haiti in Canada," said Nathalie Pierre-Louis Laroche, President of HCCCI. Government officials will present at the Canadian private sector the competitive advantages of Haiti as an investment destination, as companies participating in the trade mission will highlight the strengths and capacities of Haitian companies in a variety of sectors. "The Embassy of Canada is proud to be associated with the trade mission because we know that the private sector, Haitians and Canadian, plays a unique role in creating jobs and stimulate sustainable economic growth necessary for the prosperity and stability of Haiti," said Vincent Le Pape, the charge d'Affaires of the Embassy of Canada, at the launch of the mission. During their visit to Canada, members of the delegation will participate in several networking meetings, information sessions and a special one-day program organized by the Chamber of Commerce of Metropolitan Montreal (CCMM).
