Indeed, during the National Carnival of Jacmel, which takes place the weekend before the three days fat, the whole city is engaged in a festival of dance and music. An authentic and official parade presenting the sampling of carnival is offered to the revelers for more than 14 hours non-stop. However, the city of Jacmel, who also organizes the Carnival during the 3 days fat, also offers the possibility, in the words of Mr. Cyril Pressoir, to make "friendly tourism" around a traditional carnival in the historical center "It will be a vendible product to national and international visitors as a unique tourist experience." A whole series of suggestions and activities are proposed by the representative of the Tourism South East include: workshops for children and adults, food booths, traditional masked ball, photo exhibitions of Carnival of Jacmel through time, dance folk, excursions, video projections of carnivals in the world...
