Haiti - Sports : Inauguration of the new sports complex of Ouanaminthe 20/11/2013 10:15:38
This new sports complex includes a football field, a basketball court and a mixed area for tennis and volleyball. This major sporting infrastructure, in addition to meeting the standards, has a capacity of over 500 seats and also has among others : adequate physical facilities, administrative offices, cloakrooms and lights... Accompanied by Mr. Rony Pierre, Mayor of the city, Magalie Racine, the Minister of Sports, Jacques Thomas, Minister of the Environment, the deputy of Ouanaminthe Lucner Noel, the Senator Northeast, Mr. Derex Pierre Louis, he Head of State noted the potential of the area "You have the land. You have the resources. You can develop your community yourself," declared the President Martellywho also wants to establish in the region, a system of social and health security.  Thereafter, the Head of State went evaluate drainage and protection made in the river Massacre, to protect the city from flooding. While commending the work done in this town, the Head of State reiterated its commitment to implement across the country adequate infrastructure to the youth development "With the support of all, the task will be easier, in the performance of work of the development of Haiti."
