Haiti - Politic : In Grand-Goâve, a town hall that works
As part of the announcement of the activities of the 350th anniversary of the City of Grand-Goâve [taking place until October 2014], Jackson Myril, the main Mayor of the city, wanted to recall that major infrastructure projects are underway including : paving of the streets of Grand-Goâve, the renovation of administrative offices, sanitation and the creation of a modern waste treatment center in the region of Palmes.

Mayor Jackson Myril also stated hat major investments are planned in the municipality, remembering proudly to the residents several achievements to the credit of the Municipality including : the return to the safety ; the the formation of a municipal council grouping all the authorities of the Civil Society ; the full payment of back wages ; the watershed protection, ; the improvement of electrification system and partnerships made ​​with health institutions including mobile clinics of the First Lady, Sophia Martelly, and the National Bureau of Ethnology, for the enhancement of cultural resources of the municipality.

The team of the City of Grand-Goâve, is composed of a Board of 3 members, including two assessors mayors: Jean Claudy Jean and Marie Claudianne Laguerre and main Mayor, Jackson Myril.
