Haiti - Security : Bike-Patrol brigade for Cap-Haïtien 14/04/2014 11:20:09
After Port-au-Prince, Les Cayes, Jacmel, Saint Marc and Gonaives, Cap Haitien is the sixth largest city in the country to have a Bike-Patrol brigade of the National Police of Haiti (PNH), which was launched the past week on the Place d'Armes, in the presence of local authorities including judges, the Government Commissioner and regional officials of the Minustah.
This new Bike-Patrol brigade of the PNH is currently composed of 8 officers including a police inspector and was established with the support of Canadian instructors of the Minustah.
"This new Bike-Patrol brigade, is part of the development of the National Police of Haiti (PNH). Its main objective is to closer to the population of its police," explained Divisional Commissioner André Jonas Parison Vladimir, Departmental Director North (DDN) of the PNH at launch.
