Tuesday, the ratification of the 2014-2014 Budget Act in the Senate was postponed after heated debate between senators for ratification and if those opposed. On another topic, the Senators Wetsner Polycarp (North) and Jean-Baptiste Bien-Aimé (Northeast), [members of G6] disagree on the formation of a special commission to study the amendments to the electoral law, left the meeting when the vote, reversing the quorum.

Concerning the budget, the Senators reproach to the Prime Minister, Laurent Lamothe of failing to appear before the Senate Committee "Economy and Finance" when analyzing the draft Finance Bill 2014-2014 while all other Ministers invitedhad responded. Senator Exius [G6] wondered "How will I be asked to approve the budget as Prime Minister refuses to appear before us ?"

"We have at least 6 correspondences that prove that we invited him to the Senate as Prime Minister or as Minister of Planning. But he never shown," now conditioning the ratification of the state budget, to the presence of the Prime Minister before the Commission.
