Haiti - News : Electoral Zapping...
Laurent Lamothe is preparing for the cons-offensive
Patrick Chrispin, Legal Adviser to former Prime Minister Laurent Lamothe revealed that an appeal will be exercised, because contrary to what the CEP says the BCEN decisions are not final or without appeal and legal remedies are possible, limited to say the Electoral Decree gives clues about that... However, it refrained from unveiling the strategy of Laurent Lamothe or instances that could be concerned. Beyond legal actions, Laurent Lamothe intends to appeal the verdict of the people, as part of a [or more?] large peaceful mobilization, without resorting to violence to force the CEP to re-enter it in the race to the presidency. It is clear that for a "beating" as Laurent Lamothe, losing a battle, is not losing the war.

Furthermore, the lawyer Thierry Mayard Paul, candidate also rejected by the BCEN, also speaks of legal recourse, without revealing the shape, like Laurent Lamothe, saying only that the decision of BCEN is illegal and is not definitive whatever is said.
