Haiti - Politic : Arcahaie, Montrouis dialogue continues...

Sunday, under the leadership of Prime Minister Evans Paul, Zéphirin Ardouin, Minister of Internal Affairs, Pierre Richard Casimir, the Minister of Justice, Audain Bernadel Secretary of State for Local Authorities, Gonzague Louis Day, Delegate of the West Department, senior officials of the Primature, of the Haitian National Police and local authorities held two separate working meetings, in Montrouis and Arcahaie with leaders of the two communities on the situation of tension prevailing for a few weeks in the area https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-15346-haiti-politic-arcahaie-paralyzed-for-over-one-month.html
Following discussions and grievances expressed by the various parties, it was decided to form a Tripartite Commission composed of representatives from government, and communities of Arcahaie and Montrouis, to try to reach consensus for a permanent solution caused by the creation of the new commune "Les Arcadins" https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-14858-haiti-politic-5-new-communes-in-haiti.html
