Haiti - Agriculture : US$500,000 project in Nan Panyol 20/02/2016 10:29:37
Dr. Louis G. Lamothe Foundation is putting in place a sustainable agriculture project, estimated at about 500,000 US dollars in Nan Panyol, 3rd communal section of Souçailles of the commune of Kenscoff.
The project, which takes place over three years, aims to increase by 30% the agricultural yield of Nan Panyol, build capacity and production and marketing systems necessary for the implementation of agricultural projects, to densify the green cover of the micro-watersheds, stabilize slopes and improve the use of stormwater runoff as well as the agricultural marketing system.
Actors responsible for the thing, participate in all stages of the process to ensure the sustainable management of infrastructure to be put in place to Panyol.
