Haiti - Culture : Port-au-Prince Carnival
The Municipal Administration of Port-au-Prince wishes to remind cultural operators, musical groups, walking bands and the general public that the Carnival of Port-au-Prince will take place in the capital 26, 27, 28 February 2017 around the theme "An’n Fè Ayiti Reviv".

The town hall congratulates cultural operators, musical groups, walking bands, the National Police of Haiti, the sponsors and the public in general who during the pre-carnival exercises showed a responsible and reasonable attitude. The Municipal Administration renews its determination to work for the 2017 Carnival festivities to be a culturally, touristically and economically advantageous product for the whole country.

Note that the edition of the National Carnival 2017 will take place this year in the city of Les Cayes and in 2018 in Port-au-Prince according to the announcement by the elected President Jovenel Moïse http://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-19883-haiti-culture-the-2017-national-carnival-will-take-place-in-the-city-of-les-cayes.html
