Haiti - Culture : Exceptional exhibition «Women build another Haiti»
As part of International Women's Day, an exceptional exhibition entitled "Women build another Haiti" will open to the public on Wednesday 8 and until March 18, 2017, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, in the auditorium of The National Library located at 193, rue du Center, in Port-au-Prince.

This exhibition will present in painting the course of twenty Haitian women by giving back to their memories all their artistic and feminine truth.

The works realised by 11 young painters of Kalfou Richès, valorize the hard ascension of our women as writers, artists, singers, dancers, musicians, feminist militants, women of the "rosée" and Madan Sara, such as : Mireille Neptune Anglade, Marie Vieux Chauvet, Edwige Danticat, Yanick Jean, Yanick Lahens, Kettly Mars, Paulette Poujol Oriol et Émmelie Prophète – Lina Mathon Blanchet, Lumane Casimir, Émerante De Pradines, Marta Jean Claude, Toto Bissainthe, Émeline Michel – Anne Marie Coriolan, Magalie Marcelin, Myriam Merlet, Sonia Pierre, Yanick Rigaud, Yvonne Hakim Rimpel.

The naturalness of the works give the characters their emotions and the meaning of their struggles. The artists : Wadley Saint Louis, Soffia Noël, Érode Dorsainvil, Jean Ronald Saint Vil, Farah Marie, Laurence Charles, Marc Saint vil Berlin, Étienne Marc Joël, Robenson Laguerre, Jean Daniel Clervens Victor, Mardoché Boyer and Daniel Guerrier have demonstrated their cultural and artistic interest for these women under the guidance of mentors such as Shilou Jean from Fort National, Walgens Pierre from Caridad, Papouche Romilus of martissant, Frantz Pierre Louis from Bolosse as well as Wanes Dérilus from Bel Air.
