Petrogaz-Haiti S.A denounces
Yvenert Foesthter Joseph, Secretary General of the Oil and Gas Company Petrogaz-Haïti SA, denounced the actions of a certain sector to block the execution of a call for tenders that his company won for the purchase of fuel oil on behalf of the Haitian state. According to Joseph, the other competitors did not meet the criteria set by the Bureau of Monetization, Development Assistance Programs (BMPAD).
PM tightens controls
In a memorandum addressed to the Ministers, Secretaries of State and General Directors of the deconcentrated bodies, concerning the new contracts and appointments, "it is bring to their known hat as from the date of the memorandum (12 April 2017), all new contracts and appointments must first be submitted to the Prime Minister for approval."
Education : Important meeting with DDE
Pierre Josué Agénor Cadet, the Minister of National Education held a working meeting with the Departmental Directors of Education (DDE) and their deputies around the problems of the education sector and ongoing actions. Police stations and sub-stations in poor condition
A delegation from the General Inspectorate of the Haitian National Police (IGPNH) conducted an inspection tour in the department of the Center and in the metropolitan area of 13 police stations, 5 sub-police stations, 2 civilian prisons and 2 specialized units. Members of the delegation noted that several buildings, including police stations and sub-police stations, were in poor condition and had to be rehabilitated.
