Haiti - FLASH : Terror in Savane Pistache, houses of police officers burned 25/12/2018 08:00:07
After setting fire to the sub-police station of the street Monseigneur Guilloux extended, to Savane Pistache (2nd district of Port-au-Prince) https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-26488-haiti-news-zapping.html they have decided to burn down police officers houses resident in this neighborhood. Residents of the area remained closed at home in fear, fearing for their lives and those of their families while sporadic shooting of automatic weapons caused panic and terror among the population. Special units of the Haitian National Police intervened to restore order, bravely confronting these dangerous bandits. Several cars were burned and houses looted according to several witnesses from the neighborhood whose police finally regained control. No official balance sheet has been communicated so far by the authorities. PI/ HaitiLibre
