RNDP's lawyer resigns
Following the various public statements of Eric Jean Baptiste, the Secretary General of the "Rally of Progressive National Democrats" (RDNP), Me Jean Ronel Sistanis, the lawyer of the RDNP has resigned as a member of the Party.

Senator Lambert hopes for a truce

"In 1987 we started a dialogue about the political system we wanted to have; we also wanted to determine the rules of living together. This dialogue gave birth to the Constitution through a popular referendum. We agreed that any change in the Constitution must be made by amendment. What we need is to respect the rules of political alternation, so patience until the end of the mandate of the elected President. Saturday evening, the Alliance Française du Cap-Haïtien hosted the Canadian-Haitian writer and academician Dany Laferrière. More than 400 people came to attend its conference around the theme of Vertières. Dany also returned to his Haitian origins and the strong influence they exert in his writing.
