Haiti - Politic : Filing of the documents of Prime Minister, postponed in a climate of hostility
The Prime Minister-designate, Bernard Gousse, whose the choice continues to fuel the debate in Parliament, will file Tuesday his documents, has announced yesterday, Rodolphe Joazile, the President of the Senate.

The Special Commission, responsible for analyzing documents in the file, [The senators : Lucas François SainvilL Nènel Cassy, Yvon Buissereth, Wencesclass Lambert, Edwin Zenny, Francisco Dalacruz, Jean-Baptiste Bien-Aimé, Jean William Jeanty (President of the Commission) and Jean Willy Jean-Baptiste) had wished that this formality is completed this Friday, to fast forward the ratification process. However, before a time obviously too short, it was agreed with Mr. Bernard Gousse that he will file his documents next Tuesday, said President of the Senate.

Before the hostility and controversy surrounding this new candidate for Prime Minister, Rodolphe Joazile takes his distances, stressing, that he has not collaborated, this time with the Head of State in the choice of Prime Minister-designate. Nevertheless, he argues that the constitutional prescribed will be strictly enforced in the ratification process...

William Jeanty, the President of the Commission for his part promises an "analysis technical and objective" of the file of Prime Minister-designate.

A position far away from that of the Senators Moise Jean Charles, Joseph Lambert, and other parliamentarians, in total disagreement with this choice, and which invite the President Martelly, from now, to seek another candidate, because for them it is clear that Bernard Gousse, has no chance of getting a majority vote in the Senate. "The vote will be highly political" has declared the Senator Lambert Lambert, because the Head of State, knows very well that his Prime Minister-designate is not well seen in Parliament, "a position that illustrates the division of the Senate faced the choice of President Martelly.

The Senator Michel Clérié (INITE) joined a group of fourteen Senators, in favor of this candidacy. By cons, Senator Francky Exius (INITE), who claims speak on behalf of 17 Senators of Lavalas trend, indicates that Bernard Gousse has absolutely no chance to pass the first step of ratification.
