The Ministry of Planning and External Cooperation announced that as part of the execution of communal funds, many school infrastructure have been completed through the 10 departments.

In the department of Northwest, 4 national schools are fully completed. Construction work of two national schools ended in the West, two community schools have been renovated and 3 classrooms rehabilitated.

The department of Centre also just benefited from a new national school whose the Ministry of Planning was the master developer. Now children of Pablocal, communal section Marmont, attending school institution worthy of the name. Moreover, the construction of the Community School of Grand Gosier ended in Southeast.

Among the completed projects, the Ministry cited among others the electrification of 4 localities Downtown / Impasse Narcisse, Platon Jacques, Godé and Robin of the municipality of Kenskoff, department of the West. These infrastructure works realized from municipal funds, will allow the resumption of nocturnal activities, intensify economic, cultural and social activities ; the construction of a national school in river Blanche in Artibonite ; the complete construction of the National School of Port Margot in the department of North ; the construction of the presbyteral school Savanne Marc ; in the Northwest the renovation of Market Tunel Carrefour-Feuille ; the streets Brilliant Charles and Désir in the department of Artibonite, are all completed projects.

Recall that an envelope of 1.4 billion gourdes, with 10 million gourdes per municipality was allocated to work aimed at the socio-economic development of municipalities. The government is currently implementing 187 projects including the construction of public markets, electrification, construction of schools and health facilities. Nearly 90 project are already fully completed.
