The Deputy Abel Descollines , Spokesperson for the pro-government majority bloc "Parliamentarians for Stability and Progress" (PSP) declared that if the elections did not take place in 2014, the Government will be forced to resign. A surprising statement from spokesman of PSP, especially as the political will of the executive to hold elections this year has been repeated many times since the publication of the electoral law, and on the other hand, of sectors, most favorable to the Government, not only want elections in 2014 for the renewal of senators whose term has expired, but also that these elections combine the renewal of the second third of the Senate whose term will expire in January 2015.
