On Monday, President Michel Martelly, accompanied by the Prime Minister, Laurent Lamothe, Me Anel Alexis Joseph, President of the Superior Council of the Judiciary (CSPJ) of Deputy Stevenson Jacques Thimoléon, President of the Chamber of Deputies and several other influential personalities of the Government and Civil Society, has proceeded to the installation, after their swearing in, of 10 new Judges [Nonie Henriette Mathieu, Jean Ariel Joseph, Arol Elie, Marie France H. Mondésir, Pierre Volmar Demesyeux, Saint-Juste Momprévil, Méhu Mélius Gaston, Fritz Robert Paul, Neltha Marie Féthière and Rogavil Boisguene elected for 10 years], the Superior Court of Auditors and Administrative Disputes (CSC/CA) in the new premises, located at the corner of Avenue Christophe and street 6 (inaugurated on 1st March 2013).

"You have the heavy responsibility to ensure the regularity, efficiency and effectiveness of the use of public funds," noted the Head of State "The Constitution gives to your services a high civic and moral dimension by choosing you as guarantors of rules establishing, on the financial point of view, the proper functioning of the state apparatus. The credibility of public investment, epends on your vigilance and your willingness to always have the law and the regulations for compass."

"I would be remiss to not salute the remarkable work done by your predecessors. They can be proud of this dedication that has characterized their commitment to the service of the state. They go with the feeling of duty accomplished and the Fatherland is grateful," declared the President Martelly

The Head of State reiterated its full support to the actions of this independent institution responsible inter alia : of administrative and judicial review of revenue and expenditure of the State, of the audit of accounts of public enterprises and local authorities.
