Cooking School Elie Dubois :
Tuesday, Stéphanie Balmir Villedrouin, the Minister of Tourism and Creative Industries, held a working meeting with Ms. Bianca S. Malebranche, as well as Andy Durosiers, Spokesperson and Director of Studies and Programming Unit of the Ministry of Tourism and Daniel Denis Director of Training on among other the layout of the building, which will house the Cooking School Elie Dubois, https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-10775-haiti-tourism-things-are-moving-everywhere.html and also on the follow of program agreements on tourism training.

Preparation for Holy Week at the Citadelle :
Ms. Dieudonne Luma Etienne, Regional Director North Ministry of Tourism, had an important meeting with Luc Thelus, the representative of the Ministry of Culture at National Historical Park, the Commissioner Garry Verdilus, Deputy Director of the Tourist Police (Politour) and Mario Brunache, Director of the Institute for the Protection of National Heritage, around preparations for the reception of visitors that will participate this year to the traditional Patriotic Pilgrimage of the Holy Week at the National Historical Park (Citadelle, Ramiers, Sans Souci).

Meeting with UNESCO :
The Ministries of Tourism and Culture met with UNESCO. The focus of this meeting was placed on the Greater North and discussions mainly concerned the project of Gites in Milot, the Management of National Historic Park and the great project of Craft Village https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-10605-haiti-tourism-presentation-of-the-project-craft-village-of-milot.html that the Ministry of Tourism will realize in Milot with partners of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), the European Union and the World Tourism Organization.

Citizen involvement :
Saturday, as part of the sensitization of the population to citizen involvement, Ms. Dieudonne Luma Etienne, Regional Director North Ministry of Tourism, made a presentation, to Chouchou Bay Beach (between Borgne, Port-Margot ), for the benefit of members of the Association of Sports Journalists North (AJSN), on
their role and the importance of their involvement in the development of the Destination. During this presentation, the Director has developed the following points : 1. Definition of Tourism 2. Essential types of tourism; 3. What is a tourist destination? ; 4. What is heritage tourism? 5. The North the Destination Plural; 6. Presentation of the Tourist Triangle North 7. The involvement of the Press, an unavoidable necessity.

Cleanliness in Fort-Jacques :
The Town Hall of Petionville has indicated after a visit to Fort Jacques, a sanitation team has been established to ensure the cleanliness of the site.
