In the night of Sunday, armed individuals penetrated in a residence with Thomassin 38. According to the information collected by the police force, the bandits intended to burgle the property and to kidnap the young girl of the couple. The girl's mother stepped in to defend his daughter, surprised by this resistance, one of the robbers shot him in the face leaving her for dead before absconding with his accomplices, without leading to run their operation.

Transported to the hospital in urgency by a patrol of police, arrived on the spot a few minutes after the drama, its life would not be in danger. A man whose identity was not communicated was found died close to the residence. Witnesses said there would be a passerby who just so happened on the path of the gangsters who fled on foot and who coldly killed.

According to police sources of the under-police station of Thomassin, several similar acts in the communes of Pèlerin, Laboule, Thomassin and Fermathe seem to have the same procedure. Criminals always choose women or children as aim, robbing the house before leaving with one or more hostages.
