Haiti - Technology : Venezuela order 10,000 tablets Surtab 28/05/2014 10:01:29
While welcoming the model of dynamic, fraternal and historical cooperation between the two Republics, the Head of Government welcomed that orders, such as those placed by Venezuela can only strengthen the creation of sustainable jobs in the country and continue to improve the image of Haiti in the Caribbean and the world.  The purchase of these Haitian tablets, follows the Prime Minister's visit to Caracas, March 9 where the Head of Government of Haiti presented this product to the President Maduro, who then declared "Haiti will manufacture a tablet, as part of a productive partnership to deliver 2,600 of these tablets to our students." https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-10686-haiti-technology-haiti-will-manufacture-2-600-tablet-computers-for-students-in-venezuela.html It is therefore 4 times more tablets that have been ordered in a very appreciated gesture of political and economic solidarity between the two countries, which is part of a larger production program in Venezuela of 2.6 million tablets produced by companies in this country.
