Haiti - Social : The FEKOK goes up to the crenel
The Federation of the organizing Committees of the Camps of survivors (Fédération des Comités organisateurs des Camps de rescapés FEKOK) has again Wednesday, pulled the whistle on the subhuman life conditions of the earthquake survivors and announced its participation in a sit-in on Friday in front of the provisional seat of the Prime Minister to the bicentennial.

"For eight months now, we live in tents and plastic sheeting now very damaged without having the means of taking care of our families" affirms James Pierre Louis, member of the FEKOK "Today there are over food distribution in camps and nobody tells us anything about how we can ensure the survival of our families"

Ismarthe Laurore member of the FEKOK invites the government to act quickly "because the back to school and its batch of difficulties, advances by advance by leaps and bounds" She is outraged that the fate of victims of January 12 is no longer, she said, on the agenda of the Haitian government that only thinks elections.

Dambleu Ducière, another member of the FEKOK says the FEKOK intends to participate in any peaceful movement to be heard due to the authorities and make them susceptible to despair of the population, stressing that "any process of moving the refugees must be done with their collaboration and that refugees in camps for displaced persons in no way seek to leave the tents and plastic sheeting for tents and other other plastic sheeting in remote areas.
