Haiti - Security : Monthly result of the DCPJ

Thursday, Gary Desrosiers Deputy Spokesperson of the National Police of Haiti (PNH) presented the results of operations of the Central Directorate of the Judicial Police (DCPJ) between 10 June and 7 July 2014.

He thus revealed that during this period, were seized among others, 219.4 kilos of marijuana, 7 firearms, ammunition, 1 bullet vest, 4 vehicles, 1 motorcycle and 2 boats from Jamaica. During these various operations, Police arrested 30 individuals, including several wanted criminals, including two suspects that would be involved in the kidnapping of Stéphanie Louise Rosann Smith on July 5 and released July 7, (without payment of ransom, during an operation of the DCPJ). They are Mario Noël a person deported from the United States and Lynius Moïse a notorious bandit well-known by police.
