Haiti - Sports : 1st Promotion of the National Institute of Youth and Sports Science

Monday, Himmler Rébu, inister of Youth, Sports and Civic Action (MJSAC) participated at Karibe Convention Center, at the presentation ceremony of the first promotion of the National Institute of Youth and Sports Science (INJESS), whose mission is the training of executives and professionals in youth, sport and physical activity.
This first class is composed of 60 young people (18 girls, 42 boys) selected from 600 applicants from the 10 departments. These young people will be trained for 10 months in internship, departments. These young people will be trained for 10 months in internship, on among other things: the theories and techniques of athleticism, basketball, football, volleyball, gymnastics formative, anatomy, physiology of physical exercise, planning of training, methodology, pedagogy, management, education for citizenship...
At the end of their study Programs, the youth of this first class will receive a Professional Skills Certificate (CAP) with the title of "Certified Presenter of Youth and Sport" (ACJS), allowing them to become animators that can work on the labor market in the first instance and continue their university studies in related courses for careers in youth and sport.
In his address, the Minister Rébu declared "[...] Dear students, [...] You are 60 out of 600 initially recruited from all departments. To access the highly rigorous scientific studies you'll constrained. You managed a real obstacle course. You managed the intellectual and physical tests [...] You are both young women and young men healthy, physically, intellectually, psychologically and with in hands a sound medical discharge. You will not be at the ranch of Croix des Bouquets boaters [...] The scientific training that will be given to you will be strictly stuck to the reality of daily life. You will be beneficiaries and stakeholders. Social and civic values will be a constant in your training. In end of studies it is the school and the children of your departments you are coming that will be your first experimental field. Never forget that you have been chosen to realize the dreams of medals and trophies of a whole nation. And beyond the medals and trophies the dream of regaining pride and dignity of Haiti. Please note that deviations in discipline and in academic productivity will be severely punished. We succeeded in INJESS with a minimum of 66%. Personally, I encourage you to always be above 70%. Your success in September 2015 begins tomorrow morning. Parents who have entrusted to teh State their children of both sexes, in a internship system, rest assured that they will be at all times, protected and well cared."
