On Thursday, the investigating judge Lamarre Bélizaire sent a letter to Godson Orelus, the Director General of the National Police of Haiti (PNH), formally requesting him to bring former President Jean Bertrand Aristide to his office on Friday at 10:00 am.

Despite this court order, the PNH has not executed the warrant, while several Lavalas activists shouting slogans hostile to the Government, were grouped outside the residence of the former President, in Tabarre, very determined to prevent any police action aimed at bring by force their leader.
