Haiti - Social : Protest in Petit-Goâve, against the postponement of the inauguration of the wharf 16/10/2014 11:11:42
According to the angry protesters, the President Martelly would have canceled this ceremony after having received information indicating that some members of the opposition, will manifest this Thursday 16 against his presence in Petit-Goâve. "We demand the immediate inauguration of the Port of Petit Goâve, otherwise we will block everything and constantly occupy the streets until the arrival of President Martelly," indicated the protesters, who accuse local opposition to be responsible for the postponement of the inauguration. The agents of the Departmental Unit of Maintenance of Order (UDMO) intervened to unlocked the main road and allow traffic to return to normal... This Thursday, supporters of local authorities as well as members of the opposition will demonstrate again in Petit-Goâve... for different reasons...
