Haiti - Justice : Twenty protesters brought before the Judge Belizaire
During the anti-governmental demonstration of 17 October, https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-12310-haiti-politic-anti-government-demonstration-dispersed-by-security-forces.html , whose latest balance sheet shows 18 wounded, nearly two dozen protesters were arrested by the National Police of Haiti (PNH).

Monday, Gérald Norgaisse, the Substitute Government Commissioner has decided to refer these protesters before the judge Lamarre Bélizaire, very controversial in the case of former President Aristide. This is what confirmed Me Evel Fanfan, the lawyer for protesters, who believes that this approach is illegal because according to him, is the Dean of the Court of First Instance of Port-au-Prince to distribute the folders and not to the substitute Government Commissioner.

That same day, several opposition organizations, announced the launch of a new demonstration Thursday, Oct. 23, to denounce all forms of repression and the arrests of demonstrators, they consider illegal and arbitrary. The demonstration should start from the Prosecutor of Port-au-Prince and ending before the Ministry of Justice.
