Asked about the dispersal of the demonstration in Delmas while the latter peacefully followed the course, he said that the police reaction was "hyperprofessionnelle" and that it was forced to intervene to prevent the situation from deteriorating and causes more damage because of individuals within the demonstrators began breaking windshields of cars adding "The police is only restoring order and prevent breakage when the need arises." About journalists victims of tear gas, he said that such incidents happen in every country of the world, advising media workers to locate in strategic and safe places to avoid suffering the effects collateral of possible police action.
