Haiti - Sports : A day without a medal at the XXII Central American and Caribbean Games

At the XXII Central American and Caribbean Games that take place in Veracruz, Mexico, from November 14 to 30, Haiti has already won 3 medals, one in judo and 2 in weightlifting this Friday Haiti was competing in judo, boxing and football, but did not win any medal.

Judo :

Josué Deprez, in judo man (73kg) faced on the mats in 1/4 finals, the Mexican David Ravera, that he beat with Shido in 3:56. Boxing :

Friday at the World Trade Center Veracruz, 16 meetings of 3 rounds. 2 Haitian boxers competing.

Bernard Jean Bélizaire in the category man (52kg-fly) confronted in the ring the Nicaraguan Ricardo Alexander Blandon. In round 1 Jean Bélizaire Bernard earned a score of 9-9-10 against 10-10-9 for his opponent. In round two, he got 9-9-9 against 10-10-10 for Alexander and in the third round 8-8-9 against 10-10-10 for a final score of 26-26-28 for ean Bernard Bélizaire and 30-30-29 for the Nicaraguan that takes a 3-0 victory.

Pierre Marie Phelissien in the man category (56kg-Bantam) faced in the ring the Panamanian Francisco Rivera. In round 1 Pierre Marie Phelissien earned a score of 8-9-9, against 10-10-10 for his opponent. In round two, he got 9-9-9 against a 10-10-10 pour Rivera and and at the third round 8-8-9 against 10-10-10, for a final score of 25-26-27 for Pierre Marie Phelissien and 30-30-30 for the Panamanian that takes a 3-0 victory.

Football :

In football in the first round of Group A (game # 10), the Haitian women's team has faced on the lawn that of Mexico to the Hugo Sanchez Sports Complex and lost 1-0 on a Mexican goal, scored in the final minutes by Stephany Mayor Sandra to the 87'.
