Haiti - Politic : Pre-electoral crisis, USA enters into discussions

Monday, Me André Michel confirmed to the press that the "Patriotic Movement for Democratic Opposition" (MOPOD) will respond to the invitation of the US Ambassador, stressing that this meeting will not change the claims of MOPOD. Recalling that the only solution to the current crisis passes through the voluntary or forced resignation of President Martelly, the unconditional release of all political prisoners, the establishment of a transitional government, the establishment of a credible Electoral Council based on Article 289 of the Constitution and the holding of general elections in 2015. He remains convinced that this American initiative is designed to break the momentum of popular mobilization calling for the resignation of President Martelly.
