Haiti - Politic : Demonstration, violence and arrests of students in Petit-Goâve
Wednesday in Petit-Goâve, an anti-government demonstration to demand not only the installation of the new municipal cartel https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-12597-haiti-politic-demonstration-and-vandalism-in-petit-goave.html but also a new orientation of the national policy, anti-government demonstration, organized jointly by the Joint Front for the Liberation (FML ) and the Bloc of Democratic Opposition (BOD) [affiliated to MOPOD] was violently dispersed by the police after stones were thrown by protesters angry in all directions.

Moreover, the Haitian National Police (HNP) has arrested 6 students during the demonstration, accused of throwing stones against the forces of order. They ar Vladimir Saint-Fleur (22) student of rhéto, Alfinis Nesly (20) student of seconde, Jean-Baptiste Rosier (19), student of 9th fundamental, Fils-Aimé Paul , (17 ),Abel Cémexant and Auguste Stanley.

They are currently incarcerated in Commissioner of Petit-Goave and are scheduled to appear Thursday before the Peace Court of the city, before being referred to the prosecutor of Petit-Goâve, led by Me Jean Alix Civil.

The leaders of the FMl and BOD demanded Wednesday night on radio Préférence fm, the immediate and unconditional release of students arrested by the police and reaffirmed their commitment to jointly pursue their mobilization against President Martelly and Prime Minister Laurent Lamothe. They will be back on the concrete Petit Goave from this Thursday until Saturday morning and "We will administer a red card to the government team in place ..." said Professor Alain Pierre Ernso, Spokesperson the opposition of the Joint Liberation Front (FML)
