MINUSTAH was deployed five battalions of peacekeepers around the city to assess the camps, and damage and also responded to calls from people trapped for medical emergencies. The situation is difficult, refugees in some camps are very angry, hampering relief operations « we could not get into a camp to assess the destruction, people were angry » said an officer of the Protection civile.
