In accordance with the Memorandum of Understanding between the NATCOM and the Ministry of National Education and Vocational Training (MENFP), dated December 8, 2014, the free SIM card delivery operations by NATCOM, will begin from Tuesday, February 10, 2015.

This SIM card will be issued only to teachers and school directors who have producedrespectively the request for provisional license to teach (PPE) and the license to teach (PE) and those holding the Identification Establishment Card (CIE). Teachers or principals, owners of the SIM card, will receive 250 gourdes in credit per month for calls and internet service (100 gourdes for calls, 100 gourdes for internet, and 50 gourdes more offered by the MENFP).

All teachers who completed the form for obtaining a provisional license to teach, can access these privileges upon presentation of their National Identification Card (CIN) in a branch of the NATCOM

Moreover, the MENFP recalls that all schools that have the Identification Establishment Card (CIE), issued by the Ministry following the census conducted in September 2014 can benefit from the internet for free.

Teachers or principals who do not meet the prerequisites criteria, ie obtaining the PPE or CIE will have to wait a notification of the Ministry for the procedure to follow.

Note that La Maison Henri Deschamps has joined the partnership for the implementation of the Teacher Card advantage. It offers cardholders a 20% discount on all products (books and supplies). It thus becomes the second partner after NATCOM to enroll in this approach to provide benefits and privileges to all teachers in order.
