Wednesday, students denounced this intervention, alleging that it was members of the national police, and pointing to the new Government, which no longer respects any principle of respect for human rights. They report that many shot were fired near the student dormitory, presenting to journalists several bullet casings, they claim to have found on the spot.

Students who received the support of several other faculties including the Faculty of Science, Faculty of Ethnology and the École Normale Supérieure, denounce the violation of a university space by gunmen.

They see in this assault, an attempts to intimidation, which would aim to stifle their protests seeking the resignation François Thomas, the new Minister of Agriculture and Fednel Monchery, Secretary of State for Agrarian Reform and Pierre André Gedon, State Secretary for Agricultural Renewal, which according to them have no qualifications to lead the country's agricultural policy. They argue that same with these threats they will not back and promise to remain mobilized until satisfaction of their claim.
