Haiti - Security : Arson of a bus of the Court of Auditors
In the afternoon of Monday, February 23, at around 1:00 pm, unidentified individuals burned a bus of the Superior Court of Auditors and Administrative Disputes (CSC/CA), which was parked on the street 6, in the institution's environment.

Fritz Robert Paul, the President of the Council in a statement Tuesday "condemns this barbaric act which contributes to the desire of some groups to attack State property. It requires an investigation commissioned by the court so that the perpetrators of this crime are prosecuted and punished according to the law and urges the Government to instruct the General Directorate of the National Police of Haiti (PNH) so that the institution's security is strengthened."

Last minute, a suspect was arrested, accused of being the author of the fire of this vehicle. Lawyer Me André Michel, a fierce opponent of President Martelly, condemns the arrest he deems arbitrariness, of Chedler Guilloux, a student of the Ecole Normale Supérieure. According to the lawyer, the student would have suffered the violence of the CSC security staff and police. He regretted that Prime Minister Paul leads "a government that is guilty of violation of human rights".
