Haiti - Elections : Prime Minister Paul handed the Electoral Decree to the CEP

Wednesday, Prime Minister, Evans Paul, accompanied by among others, Pierre-Richard Casimir, Minister of Justice and Fritz Jean-Louis, Minister Delegate to the Prime Minister for electoral matters, went to the headquarters of the Provisional Electoral Council (CEP) to symbolically deliver a copy of the official newspaper "Le Moniteur" in which are published two decrees relating to the organization of elections to be held during 2015.
"We came to the headquarters of the CEP to express very clearly the will of the Government to hold elections in the country this year," declared Evans Paul who recalled that "the main obstacle to the organization of elections is the lack of legal framework, the Executive and stakeholders have made considerable efforts to publish the two decrees." https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-13296-haiti-elections-electoral-decree-adopted-19-more-deputies.html

The Electoral Decree includes 244 articles divided into 18 chapters and has a total of 382 provisions.
