In accordance with its commitments in the framework of the implementation of the Addendum to the agreements signed between the Ministry of Education and unions https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-13068-haiti-education-towards-an-agreement-with-unions-for-the-lifting-of-the-strike.html 2,500 agents, educators and administrative (from a list of 6,000) will be paid by the end of March. However, the Ministry of Education wishes to clarify that it declines any responsibility for the delay which could be registered in the treatment in case of plurality of positions (not stated) contrary to the Public Service Act. This can block the issuance of checks of the agents. It is the same for the errors recorded in the NIF or CIN of an agent, which can delay the issuance of the check.

The Ministry would like to thank all the agents involved for their patience and understanding and reiterates its determination to fulfill its commitments with the unions and it will continue to pay from April at the agreed rate, of 500 new agents per month until exhaustion of the initial list
