Haiti - Politic : The Chancellor Duly Brutus handed his resignation

Duly Brutus, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, who successfully led the last Bilateral Joint Commission, a major player in the restoration of dialogue with the Dominican Republic after weeks of tensions, handed his resignation letter to Prime Minister Evans Paul in order to be a candidate for the presidency in the elections of 25 October. According to the Chancellor Brutus, President Martelly and Prime Minister Paul would support his approach to be a candidate for the Presidency of the country.
However, it is by no means a hasty departure, the Chancellor Brutus continue in effect of closing the current business and carry out important files. Thus, he will participate in several missions abroad among others : he will travel with President Martelly April 9 in Jamaica for a meeting between the leaders of the states of the Caribbean Community (Caricom) and US President Barack Obama, then on 10 and 11 April he will lead a high-level delegation to the Summit of the Americas in Panama City, a historic moment, which will see the return of Cuba in the great family of the Americas, after 50 years of exclusion. He should leave his post only after the signing of a series of important cooperation agreements in various fields with the Dominican Republic.
Duly Brutus is on reflection on the choice of the banner under which he will present, because according to him "Failure is not an option". If it appears, according to observers having a preference for the "Konfederasyon Inite Demokratik" (KID) of Prime Minister Paul, some also mentions the banner of "Parti Haïtien Tèt kale" (PHTK), although Brutus denies being the official candidate of the ruling power.
