Senator Steven Benoit evokes the possibility to be a candidate in the next presidential, claiming to have received many requests to do so, but that he has so far taken any decision.

Resignations in cascade of Executive agents
According to Ariel Henry, the Minister of Interior and local authorities, more than fifty interim executive agents have already resigned to become a candidate in the next elections including Wilson Jeudy, the Delmas mayor who intends to run a new mandate in this commune.
