Haiti - Justice : New Director of the Penitentiary Administration 17/04/2015 12:09:20
Jean Gardy Muscadin replaces in this position the main Commissioner Marjorie Saint-Jean who spent two and a half years at the head of this institution, operating uner the PNH. She said to go with a light heart, satisfied with her achievements in this institution, which manages more than 11,000 prisoners distributed in 17 detention centers across the country. The new Director promised to bring a new breath to the prison administration and pledged to work in compliance with the law and internal regulations of the institution he leads. During the installation ceremony, the Minister Casimir welcomed the concrete results achieved in the framework of "Operation Punch" against prolonged pretrial detention.
